Educator Profile :
I would like to let you all know a little about myself. I’ve studied & worked with for children for many years. The reason I do this profession is because it’s simply my passion. I don’t feel I ever work a day in my life in this chosen field because I love what I do. I pride myself on giving children great care, stimulation, knowledge, experiences & guidance plus so much more. My philosophy reflects my values about what I would like for my own 4 children if they were in a day care which is quality care that is safe and reliable, and educator that is trustworthy and caring.
I am married and we have 4 beautiful children. They love to be involved, getting to know the children in care, play with the children and helping to set up educational experiences. This really gives our day care children a second family, a home away from home environment to feel secure & know that they belong at our service.
What I do: We follow a routine carefully constructed to meet young children’s needs. I endeavour to meet the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) & NQS (National Quality Standards). We go on many excursions - playgroups, playgrounds, shopping for resources together, Bush walks to explore the natural environment, Being out in our community learning what our community has to offer & what we can utilise. Library visits, that cover rhymes, craft activities, book borrowing & story time fun, educational experiences including life skills indoor/outdoor, out/about plus at home. Whatever the weather! On School Holiday’s we visit the Zoo, go to the Cinema and play centres, meet up with other educators with their day care children, enjoying BBQ lunches.
I like to keep parents/care givers very informed about the children’s day via text, picture’s, learning stories, conversation, email, plus through my service Elite Childcare Service. I’m always seeking new ideas through study, Pinterest, Instagram, courses, sharing ideas with like mined educational carers, and my business develop manager, the children & their family’s ideas are also followed and considered then used in a programmed approved setting.
I love play based, Nature based, sustainable living learning. A lot of my service educational styles come from following Montessori & Steiner theories of education, therefore the children will follow to take through life what is learnt at Little Ladybugs Day care. Any queries, concerns or needs you may have always ask, I’m happy to work with you. In addition, I have many positive parent recommendations I can offer to show you to put you mind at rest to feel secure in leaving your child in my care.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday: 7am till 5pm
Saturday and Sunday: On Request
Overnight: On Request
Before & after school care is offered for Mother Teresa Catholic College, Settlers Primary school & Baldivis Primary school.
