Educator Profile:
My educational philosophy
To provide a home away from home to the children in my care, in a natural family-like environment, which encourages growth and development in a fun yet responsible manner.
The smaller group in a familiar home environment is less overwhelming than a commercial child care setting, yet provides all of the educational benefits with the continuity of one nurturing educator, myself.
I believe that it is important to provide a balance between structure and activities of choice, giving opportunity for learning through play.
I am a firm believer that process not product is what’s important when doing activities and children are encouraged to progress at their own pace with programs developed to enhance their strengths and needs.
The activities and environment provided equip the children with life skills to prepare them for kindergarten and school.
My service aims to fulfill the needs of both the child and parents.

To provide an age appropriate program which meets the children’s interests, needs and strengths
To ensure the care provided is of the highest quality at all times, where children are safe happy and healthy

CHC50302 Diploma of Children’s Services (2010)
CHC30402 Certificate 3 in Children’s Services (2008)

Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
